Background
Background
The creation of the Health and Medical Tourism Cluster of Ciudad Juarez arises with the support of COPARMEX Ciudad Juarez and its Ciudad Juarez Transformation program. This program included initiatives to bring together medical and health services, recognizing the growth potential in the medical tourism industry. According to COPARMEX statistics, in 2015, medical tourism in Mexico has fostered the development of 20 specialized clusters in 11 states, with the capacity to serve up to 25,000 patients annually in the next three years.
